So after some technical nonsense, i managed to get my old drive mounted long enough to get all my photos back. it cleaned up everything, nicely having to start all over from a blank disk, all the programs run a little smoother, ipod syncing takes less time. so life is more or less back to normal.

this year i won't be in hanford, which is a great disappointment. but i will be going to a barbeque/pool party with some of my friends from work. i don't know what the status of fireworks is in their particular jurisdiction.
